Facebook is always making changes to its application. Many of these changes involve the security of Facebook itself. When Facebook makes changes to their security, sometimes this breaks things on our end. Such is the case with your password.

If you change the password to your Facebook account, the link between Facebook and ReachFactor will be broken. When this link is broken, changes to your listings and also adding new listings will not post to your Facebook page.

If the link is broken to your Facebook account, you should receive an email letting you know about this. Re-Linking Facebook to ReachFactor is a very simple process.

  1. Log into your Facebook account
  2. Log into your ReachFactor account http://my.reachfactor.com
  3. Go to the Social Media Tooklit link (it's located in the top right)
  4. Click on the Facebook tab. Follow these steps:

  1. Under the heading "Install your 'Reviews' tab, click on the large blue "Connect to Facebook" button.
  2. You should see your Facebook page or pages listed on this page once you've successfully connected.
  3. Click the radio button of the page you want connected to ReachFactor and click the "Save" button

Congratulations! Your ReachFactor account should be successfully connected to your Facebook business page again.

To confirm you're connected, check the status indicator. It should say "Facebook is currently enabled." If it doesn't say this, something went wrong during the process and your Facebook page is still not connected. Contact our support desk for assistance.
